Handmade with regional ingredients, Gao’s mission is to share the flavours of her native province with the wider world; She fuses high-quality, personally-sourced ingredients with traditional Chinese principles to showcase Sichuan cuisine's complexity beyond just 'spicy and numbing.'

Sichuan Chili Crisp debuted on Kickstarter in June 2018, where it blew past its original goal to raise over $120,000.

Gao and her sauce have been featured in outlets including Grub Street, Saveur, and The Cleaver Quarterly.
